Conqueror is emerging as one of the most dynamic and influential vertical traits in TFT Set 13. Its design empowers players to create a formidable, synergized team by utilizing all Conqueror champions, resulting in a cohesive and impactful board. Adding to the excitement is the loot mechanic, which rewards strategic gameplay and careful resource management throughout the match.

Much like the popular Chem-Baron trait, Conqueror is poised to capture the hearts of players with its ability to grant valuable bonuses and extra resources. Featuring a roster of iconic Noxus champions like Draven, Swain, and the newly introduced Ambessa, this trait not only delivers thrilling gameplay but also taps into the rich lore and aesthetics of the universe.

In this guide, we’ll explore the strategies, synergies, and secrets that make Conqueror a powerhouse in TFT Set 13.

The Conqueror trait is all about building momentum. With each takedown, Conqueror champions gain Conquest stacks, eventually unlocking War Chests that provide valuable rewards. This trait enhances Attack Damage (AD) and Ability Power (AP) while scaling these stats by an additional 3% for every War Chest opened, making it a solid choice for players who enjoy scaling power throughout the game.

Trait Bonuses:

  • (2): 18% AD/AP; 1x Conquest
  • (4): 25% AD/AP; 3x Conquest
  • (6): 40% AD/AP; 6x Conquest
  • (9): 100% AD/AP; 20x Conquest

This post aims to provide a quick and practical guide on how to play the Conqueror trait, with a focus on optimizing around the 330 cashout.

If you’re unfamiliar with the rewards system, here’s a breakdown of the Conqueror loot table to help you understand the potential value of each cashout.

According to Khym, a high elo challenger player, no matter which variant of the 330 cashout you land, all of these boards become incredibly strong if you can secure an early Rumble.

Among the available units, Rumble stands out as arguably the best 5-cost champion to use with the Conqueror emblem, closely followed by Jayce and Sevika. Prioritizing these champions can significantly enhance your chances of success.

2 Star Jayce Variant

Arguably, the strongest board you can make. This board also allows you to go 10 and field in a Viktor without changing it whatsoever.

2 Star Malzahar Variant

Here, you drop Jayce and Elise for Malzahar and Blitzcrank.

2 Star Le Blanc Variant

This board does not sustain well in the endgame.

Your goal should be to eventually swap 2 Black Rose units for 2 level 6 Units (Mel and Viktor preferably).

2 Star Caitlyn Variant

This board can be particularly strong if you hit the Martial Law Augment.

2 Star Sevika Variant

Sevika is very underrated with the conqueror Emblem.

Combined with Edge of Night, a Sterak or Hand of justice / Blood thirster and the crazy amount of durability from her cast mixed with the highroll potential on her Arm, this unit can delete everything left and right with no room for retaliation.

Make sure to position her properly though so she doesn’t get blasted by a random Corki or a stun-locked by a 4-star violet.

2 Star Jinx Variant

This is the weakest of the bunch ( and worst 5 cost ) to get from the cashout, there is no denying it.

There is still room for potential, paired with Ekko.

Ultimately the goal is to tempo with your early cashout and pivot into either form swappers, since Jinx’s items are shared with Jayce, highrolling a viktor and mel for a win-out or cap with your board both if you hit level 10.
