Dawn of Heroes Revival: A Look Back at TFT Patch 14.19
Originally released three years ago, Dawn of Heroes introduced several key features that left a lasting impact on TFT:
- Radiant Items: These powerful items added a new strategic layer to the game, offering enhanced versions of regular items that could turn the tide of battle.
- Divine Blessing: A life-saving mechanic that granted bonus resources when your health fell below a certain threshold. It was so popular that it inspired the creation of the Portals we see in current sets.
- Tome of Traits: This book offered players the chance to gain additional traits, a mechanic that added flexibility to team compositions. Although the Tome has recently been retired, its legacy lives on in the way we build our teams today.
And let’s not forget the addition of new champions like Akshan, as well as the introduction of thematic traits like Sentinels, the Forgotten, and the mischievous Hellion!
We will provide a full list of the champions and traits soon on a dedicated post.
What’s New in the Revival?
Starting September 25th at 4:30 PM PT, the Dawn of Heroes Revival will be available until November 4th, 4:30 PM PT. During this period, players can jump back into this iconic set and experience it with fresh updates and a new competitive environment.
The Revival comes with its own Ranked Revival Ladder and rewards.

- Queenguard’s Armor Healing from Queen’s Damage: Reduced from 15% to 12%.
