We’ve got a fresh patch dropping, and it’s not just a few stray number changes—traits, items, augments, anomalies, and even bug fixes are all getting some attention.
Whether you’re in the mood to try out the newly buffed 1-costs, see if Warwick can dethrone Viktor, or experiment with the updated Artifacts, there’s plenty to dig into.
Here’s the breakdown of everything that’s changed.
🔻 : Nerfed
✅ : Buffed
⚙️ : Adjusted
Opening Encounters ⚙️
- Faster Opening Encounters:
- The first fight kicks off quicker, so you’ll know how your luck’s looking right out of the gate.
- Stage 3 Carousel Consistency:
- This carousel now always has one of each component unless you stumble upon a carousel full of Spatulas.
Traits
We’ve got a bunch of changes in Patch 13.3, focusing on trimming down some overperforming traits and items—especially Automata and Chem-Baron. Below you’ll find all the details straight from the official notes:
Automata 🔻
Automata has been one of our strongest Gold-tiered traits, largely thanks to its Emblem, which stacks hefty defensive stats on practically any champion—even 6-cost units—for some downright unfair survivability. (Looking at you, Ambessa or Warwick with a Bloodthirster!)
- Armor/MR: 25/60/140 ⇒ 25/55/100
- Base Damage: 150/400/1100 ⇒ 150/400/1200
Chem-Baron 🔻
Chem-Baron’s been reaping big wins lately, so we’re scaling back rewards for its 400 and 500 gold cashouts. On top of that, each Perfected Item is getting toned down—less damage, lower stats, longer cooldowns, and so on.
- Chem-Baron 400 Cashout Value Reduced by 8%
- Gold Value: 70g ⇒ 65g
- Chem-Baron 500 Cashout Value Reduced by 15%
- Gold Value: 105g ⇒ 90g

- Omnivamp: 60% ⇒ 45%

Artillerist (6) ✅
We’re reducing the attacks needed for Artillerist’s big moment, so you’ll see the barrage pop a bit more often.
- Attacks Per Proc: 4 ⇒ 3
Scrap ✅
Scrap’s shield is now lasting longer, and the 9-piece version packs more punch per component.
- Shield Duration: 20 ⇒ 24 seconds
- 9-Piece Shield per Component: 60 ⇒ 65
Sorcerer ✅
A slight buff to keep Sorcerer feeling relevant in later stages of the match.
- AP: 20/50/95/125 ⇒ 20/55/105/150
Units Balancing
1-COST UNITS
The little guys are seeing some adjustments this patch—most notably a small boost for Powder and a few other buffs to help 1-costs hold their own. Singed however is getting a nerf to address the Renata reroll going out of hands.
- Powder ✅
- Ability Fall Off: 30/30/25% ⇒ 25/25/25%
- Singed 🔻

2-COST UNITS

Cassiopeia gets an overall boost to her cast frequency and item scaling. Melee Gangplank is also on the rise, with extra healing and more punch on his AOE. Meanwhile, Smeech gets a welcome mana adjustment, and Twisted Fate’s cards pack a bit more heat.
- Cassiopeia ✅
- Attack Speed: 0.7 ⇒ 0.75
- Mana: 10/40 ⇒ 0/40
- Gangplank (Melee) ✅
- Ability Heal: 100/125/150 ⇒ 120/140/160

- Red Card: 110/165/255 ⇒ 120/180/275
4-COST UNITS
Ekko’s had a tough time as an AP-melee carry, so this patch gives him more reliable casts. That makes Omnivamp items on him that much stronger. Meanwhile, Elise (Ranged) and Twitch get a boost to keep up with heavy hitters like Silco, Ambessa, and Heimerdinger—so you won’t need a perfect setup to make them shine.
- Ekko ✅
- Mana: 0/60 ⇒ 0/50
- Elise (Ranged) ✅
- Spell Damage: 200/300/900 ⇒ 220/330/1000
- Twitch ✅
- Mana: 0/60 ⇒ 0/40
5-COST UNITS
Jayce’s Hextech Forge was firing off too easily by casting on revive, effectively doubling as both a frontline and damage engine. Now, the Forge only triggers if Jayce is alive when he casts. Some other 5-costs, like Malzahar (post-Automata nerfs) and LeBlanc, are getting buffs to stay competitive with the top-tier threats.
- Jayce
- Hextech Forge no longer triggers automatically when revived—Jayce must be alive for the Forge to activate. 🔻
- Melee Ability AD%: 500/500/2000% ⇒ 600/600/3000% ✅
- Melee Ability Secondary AD%: 225/225/1500% ⇒ 250/250/2000% ✅

- Damage Per Tick: 15/22/400 ⇒ 16/24/400
6-COST UNITS
Viktor’s been hogging the limelight for too long. Now Warwick and Mel get a shot at the top, with buffs that should put them on more equal footing.
- Mel ✅
- Ability Damage: 180/450/2700 ⇒ 200/500/2700
- Unleash Damage: 1390/3475/99999 ⇒ 1600/4000/99999
- Warwick ✅
- Experiment Bonus Stun Duration: 1 ⇒ 1.5 seconds
- Blood Hunter Heal: 400 ⇒ 500
- Blood Frenzy AD%: 200/375/2500% ⇒ 240/400/2500%
AUGMENTS
Below are all the Augment changes and notes from Patch 13.3. A handful of Augments have been disabled (Lone Hero, Arcane Retribution, Artifactory, Dark Alley Dealings, and more) due to balance concerns or awkward design issues. Several others got buffed or tweaked to make them more rewarding—or less broken.
Disabled
- Lone Hero: Disabled because it basically turned into a Lux/Vladimir stallfest, often dragging fights into late overtimes.
- Arcane Retribution (Sorcerer): Disabled. It demanded your Sorcerers die to deal an AOE burst, but Sorcerers already struggle without a solid frontline.
- Artifactory: Disabled. It could roll high-value Artifact combos that felt unstoppable. A few Artifact nerfs are on the way, so for now, it’s benched.
- Dark Alley Dealings: Disabled. It was slated for a huge nerf, so it would’ve ended up overshadowed by other Prismatics.
Highlighted Buffs & Nerfs
- Dummify: ✅
- Has been underperforming—risking the chance of dummifying your own team for a flimsy extra frontline. Now you get far more HP scaling per stage.
- HP per Stage: 250 ⇒ 1000
- Golemify (Gold): ✅
- Similar low-value issue as Dummify, but less severe.
- HP per Stage: 150 ⇒ 500
- Suspicious Trenchcoat (Artifact): ⚙️
- Combined with Edge of Night or other Artifacts, it grants too much untargetability. Disabling Artifactory helps curb this for now.
